What is a Talent Representative?

A Creator’s Talent Representative is an individual or agency that seeks and manages talents in the field of content creation, especially on online platforms such as fanslike or otherwise. 

These talents are often known as Creators or Content Creators and produce a wide range of content such as videos, photos, streaming and more. 

The role of a Creators’ Talent Representative may include identifying and discovering new talent that has potential to reach a wide and engaged audience, managing relationships with Creators by offering them support, advice and opportunities for growth, providing practical assistance such as content production, marketing strategies and managing online presence. 

In short, a Talent Representative plays a key role in facilitating the career and success of creators, helping them to develop their personal brand and monetise their work.

How do contractual agreements between Talent Representative and Creator take place?

CiaoFan considers it essential that the responsibilities and competencies of talent representatives are clearly defined and regulated for both the person filling this role and the creator. 

The role and duties of a Talent Representative are integrated and regulated directly on the platform, with a particular attention also to the legal liability.

In fact, unlike other platforms in which models and agencies have always worked with separate agreements, with serious risks for image protection and privacy, on CiaoFan the model can, by sending an e-mail to the site, elect her own Talent Representative and agree on a percentage, up to a maximum of 25%.

It will be possible to deal individually, depending on the agreement with the model, for different percentages. The percentage, which is fixed in advance by the parties, cannot be changed except in view of a new, reformulated agreement. 

How can I become a Talent Representative?

If you wish to become a Talent Representative for CiaoFan, the first step is to send your application to talentrep@ciaofan.com. We accept both individual, VAT-registered, professionals and agencies.

For individual professionals, a strong online presence via blogs and social media is required. If you already manage some model profiles, you can include them in your application. Once your application has been accepted, you can sign up the content creators you manage and have them nominate you as Talent Representative.

An agreement will then be drawn up for you to sign and send to us.
